About the Teacher
NAME: Kay Koronka
CLASS: 3rd Grade
This is my first year of teaching and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to teach at a school with such amazing parents and students! I graduated from University of Houston-Victoria in May of 2012. I have always wanted to be a teacher, but I waited until I had raised my family before going to college. I have had the privilege of working as an aide in public schools, but I have finally fulfilled my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher...and I am so excited!
I have been married to my husband, Lynn, for 37 years. We have four fantastic sons - Kevin, Kyle, Kris, and Kurt, and one beautiful granddaughter. We also have three dogs, Toby, Zach, and Maggie...and three cats, Tiger, Socks, and Kitty Girl. As you can see, we love animals at our house!
Things I love include spending time with my family and close friends, reading, shopping, coffee, sewing, and of course, children and teaching!!!!
I am looking forward to a fantastic year!!!
